You couldn’t have found a better meal in Traverse City during the years that Alliance’s doors were open and photographing their space, running their social media, hand-stamping their wallpaper, and building their website was our pride and joy during this period of time.
A brilliant collaboration between the chefs James Bloomfield, Harlan “Pete” Peterson, and Dan and Meridith Falconer led to the creation of Alliance, a restaurant which Traverse City locals are still speaking fondly of two years after closure. Once called a “cool city kid” by the New York Times, Alliance served innovative yet accessible dishes to its 38-seat dining area which was always casual, clamorous, and crowded in the best possible way.
